GENERAL VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS
​

Consider volunteering with us in one or more of the following areas for two or more shifts.

Registration Packet Assembly
​at Maumee Bay Lodge

Collating materials for packet assembly 

Name Badge Assembly at Maumee Bay Lodge
Inserting name tags into lanyard holders for each registered attendee

Set-up at Maumee Bay Lodge
Number of people:4
Date and time:Thursday, May 8, 2-6 p.m.
What job entails: Must be able to lift heavy items. This position would help BSBO staff set up the lobby at Maumee Bay State Park Lodge for The Biggest Week: registration tables, store and merchandise, signs, etc.
Festival Registration Desk Hosts at Maumee Bay Lodge
Greeting participants, answering general questions, and passing out badges and packets

Presentation Room Monitor at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and/or Maumee Bay Lodge
Checking participants in, collecting money for walk-ins, and introducing the speaker

Van Trip Maintenance Crew
​Number of people: 2-3
Date and time: Every day (May 9-18) 2-4 p.m.
What job entails: Filling vans up with gas after they return from trips in the afternoon, cleaning out vans, collecting van trip surveys, collecting van keys and returning them to registration table, and restocking supplies. Valid driving license needed.


Tear-down at Maumee Bay Lodge
Number of people:4
Date and time: Sunday, May 18, 12-4 p.m.
What job entails: Must be able to lift heavy items. This position would help BSBO staff tear down the lobby at Maumee Bay State Park Lodge for The Biggest Week: registration tables, store and merchandise, signs, etc.
