The official Biggest Week App!

In an effort to continue to increase customer service for all of our participants, we're offering a Biggest Week event app!

This app will enable participants to check their agenda, view events, receive important notifications, and more! Stay tuned for more information regarding this important upgrade.

We are polishing up finishing touches on this new product, so please be patient with us! We will be sending a stand-alone message with more information on the app soon!

Biggest Week App Tutorial

Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the most of the features available to you!

Step 1: Download the App

Download the Cvent Events App from the two app store links below:

Step 2: Connect App to The Biggest Week event

Search for "2025 Biggest Week In American Birding" under "Search for an event." Once it appears, hit the download icon to the right of the name of the festival.

Step 3: Sign In

Sign in using the same first name, last name, and email address you used to register for the festival. Once that has been entered, you will receive a verification code to the email provided as well as via text. Enter that code to complete the sign in process for the app. You're now able to use the features available to you in this app.

Step 4: Using the App

Home Page

The app homepage contains the following:

Banners with important announcements and updates: Swipe between these banners to see all of the exciting information we have to share.
Live Birding Updates: These two buttons will link you to the Biggest Week Bluesky Account for real-time bird sightings from our guides as well as Black Swamp Bird Observatory's Morning Flight Count
Important Links: These two buttons will take you to the Biggest Week website where you can get the eBird checklists from your field trips as well as the Bartlett BIG SIT For Education Fundraiser on the BSBO website.
Icons: These icons (4 pictured) will take you to various features of the app including speakers, sponsors, schedule, Birder's Marketplace, and Optics Alley. More information on using these features below.
QR Code: This code will provide an additional way to check in upon your arrival to Maumee Bay State Park.

Speakers Icon

On this page, you will be able to see all of the speakers for the 2025 festival. Tap of any of them to see their photo and bio! You can use the search button in the top right of the app to search for a specific speaker or workshop leader.

Sponsors Icon

On this page, you can view our sponsors by level in the "categories" tab or all sponsors in alphabetical order using the "list view" tab.

Schedule

View the overview of the entire festival on the "All Sessions" tab. By using the "My Schedule" tab, you can view your personal schedule. The dates across the top will allow you to see each day.

Birder's Marketplace and Optics Alley

View an interactive floor plan of Birder's Marketplace and Optics Alley. Zoom in and out by bringing two fingers together or apart to see the map closer. Click on an icon to see who is at that table. Use the search feature in the top right corner to see all of our vendors and tap a name to see where they are located on the floor plan.

Profile

On the bottom menu, choose the icon located second from the right. This is where you can see announcements made through the app by the Biggest Week team. View past announcements in the "announcements" tab. In "settings" please go to notifications and make sure they are turned on (as shown in the fourth image) to ensure you get all of the latest announcements from us.
