THE BIGGEST WEEK
BIRDERS' MARKETPLACE

This year, The Biggest Week makes a VERY BIG and VERY EXCITING move to Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center in Oregon, Ohio. Located right on the shores of Lake Erie, and less than 30 minutes from Black Swamp Bird Observatory and Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, The Lodge is a fabulous place to serve as home base for The Biggest Week. With all of this glorious space, and the full support of the Lodge Staff, we are pleased to offer space for vendors in our Biggest Week Birders' Marketplace!

Maumee Bay Lodge will rent exhibit space in conjunction with the “Biggest Week in American Birding” festival from May 3-13, 2012.  Space is limited and will be rented on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Exhibitors will have 2 separate set of dates to choose from, or opt to set up for the entire span of dates. Each space will come with an 8’ skirted table and chair.  Exhibition spaces are located in the main lobby of the hotel and are in very close proximity of the official registration area for the festival.

Cost for vendor space is as follows:

  • $150 for the 4 day block of May 3-6

  • $100 for the 3 day block of May 10-12

  • For a really great bargain, vendors are welcome to set up from May 3rd through May 12th for just $250!

Set-up details:

  • Vendors may set up and tear down at any time during their reserved dates

  • Power will be available

  • The space is in the huge open lobby area and no special security will be available; however, hotel staff will be on duty 24 hours a day to monitor the area. Table cloths can be laid over your table when it is unattended

  • Valuables will need to be secured by the vendor

  • All vendors must donate one item (or items) valued at $50 or more to the festival's silent auction fundraiser and raffle.**All proceeds to benefit local bird conservation efforts!

  • All vendors will receive a 10% discount on one room at the Lodge during the festival

For more information on reserving your space, please contact Sandy Balla at: sballa@xantera.com  or by phone at 419-836-0077.
