It's back: the LGBTQ+ Mixer!
People come from all over the country (and the world!) to The Biggest Week in American Birding for a lot of reasons. Certainly, the stunning warblers and other beautiful birds are the stars of the show. But the planning team for the Biggest Week strives to make this event not just a premiere birding experience, but a rich and rewarding social gathering, as well.
As part of this commitment, in 2010, we hosted an LGBTQ+ social with a tremendous turnout of over 150 birders. We’re so excited to bring this event back for 2017’s festival! At the Biggest Week, you’ll meet people from all walks of life, but we all share one thing in common: a love of birds.
This evening social is put on by the Gay Birders of North America (GBNA) and sponsored by BRANT Nature Tours. All friendly folks are welcome and encouraged to attend!
